Dr. Jean-Francois “Jeff”, CD, DMD, is a seasoned general dentist with over 26 years of experience in the field. Born and raised in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
Dr. Tardif joined the Canadian Armed Forces while earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Montreal and then served as a military dentist for over 22 years. During this time, he was assigned to various locations in Canada and took part in a deployment in Europe providing dental care to Canadian military personnel and allied troops.
Dr. Tardif’s military career was marked by his dedication to his patients and his commitment to excellence. He received numerous accolades for his service, including the Canadian Forces Decoration for his long and faithful service. He also served as a mentor to many young dentists, passing on his knowledge and experience to the next generation of military dentists.
After retiring from the Canadian Forces at the rank Major, Dr. Tardif remained in the Edmonton area and continued to work as a civilian dentist contractor for the military. In his free time, Dr. Tardif enjoys spending time with his children. He is also an avid reader and enjoys staying up-to-date on the advancements in dentistry.
